Teacher, computer programmer, waitress and kitchen hand are occupations.

Look at the pictures and read the sentences.

Computer programmer. Keiko is a computer programmer. She works in an office. She puts information into a computer. Teacher. My aunt is a teacher. She works in a school. She teaches students.

Waitress. My sister is a waitress. She works in a restaurant. She serves food and drink.
Kitchen hand. My brother is a kitchen hand. He works in a restaurant. He prepares food and washes dishes.

Doctor. Jenny is a doctor. She works in a hospital. She looks after sick people.
Housewife. My mother is a housewife. She works at home. She looks after her home and her family.

Lawyer. Pamela is a lawyer. She works at court or in an office. She helps people with the law.

Accountant. My father is an accountant. He works in an office. He looks after business accounts.
Engineer. Ben is an engineer. He works in an office. He designs roads and bridges.
