Marianna:
Tell me about your life in Rome. What do you do every day?
Chiara:
Well I get up at nine in the morning and I have breakfast with my husband. We talk and read the paper.
Marianna: Okay, what do you do after breakfast?
Chiara: After breakfast I go to the dance studio.

They are talking about Chiara's daily routine- what she does every day.

We use the present simple tense to talk about our daily routines.
