Chiara:	Well, it's fun and it's hard work.
Marianna:	I see .
Chiara:	Yes, I work hard but I love it.
Marianna:	Okay.
Chiara:	The performance finishes at 10 o'clock.
Marianna:	Mmmm…
Luis:	That's my day, Marianna.
Marianna:	Sounds very healthy , Luis.

Marianna and Chiara use special words to be polite and friendly.

Marianna:	Welcome , Chiara.
Chiara:	Thank you , Marianna. It's nice to be here .
Marianna:	Thank you , Chiara and good luck .
Chiara:	Thank you. You're welcome .
Luis:	I'm a football player and I play for Argentina.
Marianna:	I saw the game last week. Congratulations! Great game!

Luis doesn't know what to say. He uses conversation fillers . This gives him time to think.

Marianna:	Now, Luis, tell me about your day. What do you do every day?
Luis:	Let's see … aah … I get up each weekday at 7 am.
Marianna:	Can I ask you a personal question?
Luis:	Hmmm . OK Marianna.
