Mei:
Come to my place for lunch on Saturday.
Amy:
I'd love to, but I don't know where you live. How do I get there?

Amy asks for directions to Mei's place. She asks " How do I get there ?"

To ask someone for directions we:

1. Let them know we want to ask: " Excuse me …."
2. Ask for directions: " Could you tell me where the station is ?"
3. Say thank you: "Thanks for your help."

Excuse me, how do I get to the station please? It's straight ahead.
