Julia talks to her mother on the telephone.
Julia:
Hello.
Mum:
Hi Julia.
Julia: Oh Hi Mum. How are you?
Mum: I'm fine, how about you?
Julia: Good Mum.
Mum: How's the new apartment?
Julia: Fantastic!
Mum: Oh good. And how's your new flatmate?
Julia: Oh, Keiko's really nice. She's really friendly and helpful.
Mum: Oh, does she help with the housework?
Julia: Yeah, she loves cooking.
Mum: Lucky you. How old is she?
Julia: She's 25.
Mum: What does she do?
Julia: She's a computer programmer. She loves her job. She's really hardworking.
Mum: She sounds serious.
Julia: Oh no, she's very funny. She makes me laugh. She's also very interesting. I love her stories about her family and life in Japan.
Mum: That's wonderful! She sounds lovely.
Julia: Yeah she is. I'm happy Mum. Oh Mum, dinner's ready. I'll talk to you later.
Mum: Bye, dear.
