Practice PRACTICE 04 A weekend away
Reading for detail

Sometimes when we read we need to understand everything. We need to read for detail.
When we read for detail we read more slowly.
It is good to try to understand the words without looking at a dictionary all the time.
Often we can understand the new words by looking at the words before and after them.

1 Look at the websites again. Print all the information and read it slowly to understand it.
2 Circle or highlight any words you don't know. Don't look in your dictionary.
3 When you finish reading, look at the words again. Do you understand them now?
4 Now write short answers to these questions. Submit your answers to your teacher.
1.
What Specials does Adventure Travel have?
2.

3.
