CITY
SWIMSCHOOL
certificate
is the main qualification for swimming teachers anywhere in this country.
Anyone over the age of 16 can become a
CITY
SWIMSCHOOL
qualified swimming teacher.

Basic Course
Must be completed first.
Takes place in the classroom.
Teaches the background knowledge to the teaching of swimming and water
safety.
Has a written exam.
Cost: $90

The
Basic Course
goes from 9.00am to 5.00pm on most days, and 5.45pm to 9.30pm on 4
nights every month.
The Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Course
goes for
2 days, 8.30 am to 5.30pm every weekend of the month.
The Teacher of Infant and Pre-School Aquatics Course
goes for 2
days, 8.30am to 5.30pm, on 2 weekends every month.
You can choose from three different places: Golden Sands, Clearwater
and Great Bridge
.
