Yes. They have a basic course
at the City Swimschool. It's in the classroom and later we go
to the pool.

classroom?

Yes! I think it's a good way
to learn! That's why I always loved school. I know

school, Philip!

Yeah, I'm a very practical
person. I don't like books - I like to use my hands.…When
did you learn to swim, Maria?

Well, I could swim when I
was five. My auntie taught me.

Were you scared? How did she
teach you?

Um I was VERY scared because
I didn't know how to breathe in the water…so she showed
me first - she swam up and down the pool and I watched her.
…And then I tried.

Yes, pretty good. I'm good
at cricket and football. I can play golf quite well too. And
I know how to play baseball. But I'm
hopeless
at tennis!
