	LISTENING 01 What was it like?
	Jim tells Pedro about a film he has just seen.

Pedro:	Hi Jim. You're home! Where have you been?
Jim:	Hi Pedro. I went to the movies.
Pedro:	What movie did you see?
Jim:	I saw Titanic.
Pedro:	Oh! What was it like?
Jim:	It was great! Really fantastic!!
Pedro:	What was it about? I've heard about it, but I haven't seen it yet.
Jim:	Um… Let me see… It was about the world's biggest ocean liner which hit an iceberg in 1912. After that, water starts to come onto the ship and, at the end, the ship sinks.
Pedro:	Wow! What a disaster!
Jim:	Yeah.. It's really spectacular! The special effects are amazing. It's the most expensive American movie ever!
Pedro:	Really? Who starred in the movie?
Jim:	Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Leonardo played a poor but handsome young man and Kate was rich and beautiful but quite spoilt.
Pedro:	Hmm… And was there any romance in the movie!?
Jim:	Well yes, of course! The stars of the movie fall in love. …But her fiancé is on the ship too!
Pedro:	Oh really!? …What did you think of the romantic part?
Jim:	Actually, I didn't really like the romance.
Pedro:	Why not?
Jim:	I don't like love stories.
Pedro:	Oh Jim! But people LIKE love stories in movies.
Jim:	Yeah… I guess so.
Pedro:	So would you recommend it?
Jim:	Well…yes I would. Except for the romance, I thought it was really fantastic!
