It's the end of the year again, a time to look back on what you have done in the past year. It's also a time to think about the future! And what a scoop we have for you! We've interviewed four well known celebrities and asked them about their plans for the future.


Samantha Cline - International swimmer and Olympic gold medallist

Samantha has been on our TV screens for the past ten years. She's been to 3 Olympic games and was a world record holder. She has recently married and moved to the Sunshine Coast with her husband.

David Thorpe - professional footballer

Here's a man who needs no introduction. He is captain of our national soccer team and of his local club, Belwest. He was the leading goal scorer in the national league last year. He is an idol to thousands of young children.

Richard Black - Adventurer and entrepreneur

Richard has a helicopter and pilot's licence. He was the first person to fly solo around the world in a helicopter and one of the first people to fly to the Antarctic. In 1968 he started a successful electronics company. Today he is a multimillionaire. For the past two years he has published the country's leading environmental magazine GeoPlanet.

Stan Paterson- Channel 8 Sports presenter

Stan is probably best known for his job as Channel 8 Sports presenter. He has a passionate interest in all sports and is heavily involved in HeadStart a charity organization that gives poor kids a chance to participate in sporting activities.
