1.
Anna:	Hi Michael, how was your weekend?
Michael:	Terrible!
Anna:	Oh no! What happened?
Michael:	Well a friend and I went rollerskating yesterday.
Anna:	Oh, that sounds like fun!
Michael:	Well it was until my friend and I crashed into each other.
Anna:	Crashed into each other? Did you get hurt?
Michael:	My friend broke his leg and I've got bruises all over me.

Sally:	Ooh, who is the cake for?
Nicholas:	It's for Liz, it's her birthday.
Sally:	Oh really, I didn't know it was her birthday today! How old is she?
Nicholas:	43.
Sally:	You're kidding! She looks at least ten years younger.
Nicholas:	Yeah, I know!

Miles:	Hey, What's up?
Veronica:	Oh, you'll never guess what happened!
Miles:	What?
Veronica:	Well I was late for work so I ran to the bus stop.
Miles:	Uh huh.
Veronica:	The bus came and I jumped on. When I wanted to pay I realised I didn't have my wallet.
Miles:	Oh how awful!
Veronica:	No no wait, it gets worse. The bus driver didn't stop for two blocks. It took me twenty minutes to get back home. When I got home I realised my key was in my wallet.
Miles:	You're joking! What did you do?
Veronica:	Luckily my next door neighbour was home and let me use his phone. I called my flatmate and he came and let me in. He wasn't very happy though!
Miles:	I can understand that!
