	WRITING 04 The past perfect tense
	In this activity you will practise using the past perfect tense.

1	Look at the pairs of sentences below.
2	For each pair, link sentence 1 to sentence 2 to make one sentence.
3	Use the past perfect in the first part of the sentence.
4	Join the sentences with and .

She had finished her course.	She was looking for a job.
