	WRITING 05 Relative clauses
	Here is a chance for you to practise using relative clauses.

1	Read the clauses.
2	Join the two clauses together. There may be more than one way in which you can do this.
3	Use who , that or which to make a relative clause.
4	Use commas if necessary.

Example

This is Susan's new car. She bought it from her friend.

This is Susan's new car that she bought from her friend .

This is the new car that Susan bought from her friend .

Now you do it. Use these sentences.

1. Barry Brown loves rap music. He comes from Canada.

2. The man has a Walkman. He lives next door.

3. My brother has a Walkman. He plays it a lot.

4. Rockabilly was the new music. It was a mixture of country music and rhythm and blues.

5. ABBA was one of the most successful pop groups. They came from Sweden.

6. AC/DC plays heavy metal music. It combines volume and energy with rhythm and blues.

7. In rap, rhyme is spoken over music. Rap is one kind of pop.

8. I love rock and roll. It was the music of my youth.
