Jin Hee:
Hey have you seen
this story about the sports centre?
Steve:
Yeah, I read it
this morning. What do you think?
Jin
Hee:
It sounds great,
doesn't it? It says here that it will open in March, that's
only six months away!
Steve:
I know, I'm not
sure that it will, but I hope it does. If we can get a room,
we'll have our meetings there. Are you still going to move your
Tae Kwon Do classes there?
Jin
Hee:
Oh I don't know.
Actually, I want to talk to you about that. Maybe you can give
me some advice.
Steve:
Of course, what's
the problem?
Jin
Hee:
Well I'm not sure
if it's a good idea to move my classes. I know that the new
centre will be nice and big but I'm not sure that all my students
will want to move. I have a good class at Harry's Gym and if
I move the class, I might lose students. What do you think I
should do?
Steve:
Umm, why don't
you ask your students what they think?
Jin
Hee:
Yeah, that's a
good idea but I don't want Harry to know about it. If he knew,
he wouldn't be very happy.
Steve:
Oh you shouldn't
worry about that. Harry would understand - it's business and
you need to do the best thing for your class.
Jin
Hee:
You're right.
If I had more information about the centre, it would be easier
to decide. You know, like how much the rooms cost and what days
they are available.
Steve:
Well, if I were
you, I'd speak to Jenny at the council. She's very helpful.
She'll give you all that information.
Jin
Hee:
Oh OK. I'll do
that. So do you think I should say anything to my students?
Steve:
Yeah, just tell
them that you are thinking about starting a class at the centre
and ask them what they think. You don't need to tell them everything.
Jin
Hee:
I suppose so.
Steve:
Hey, have you
thought about teaching two classes? If you taught two classes,
you could have one at the new centre and keep the class at Harry's.
Jin
Hee:
That's not a bad
idea. If I did that, it would keep everybody happy. You're a
genius Steve! You ought to get a job as a counsellor. You give
very good advice!
Steve:
You'd better watch
out or I'll start charging you!
