Wow! The Backstreet Boys are
great. That's the best concert I've ever been to!

Oh come on! You can't be serious.

Claudia:

Why? I really enjoyed it.
Didn't you?

Jackie:

No, not really. I felt quite
disappointed. I mean, they can't sing. Sometimes they sounded
as if they were in pain. I felt a bit sorry for them.
|

Claudia:
|
That's a bit negative. Although
they haven't got the best voices they're good performers.
|
|
Jackie:
|
No, they're not. They sang
like they were robots.
|
|
Claudia:
|
That's not true! They looked
as though they were really enjoying themselves. And they had
so much energy. They made me want to dance.
|
|
Jackie:
|
Yeah, I quite liked the dancing.
It was fun, even though they looked a little unsure at times.
|

Claudia:
|
I don't agree. Anyway, the
costumes and the lighting were great. And - the audience loved
them.
|
|
Jackie:
|
But most of the audience were
12 years old! All those young girls screaming and going crazy
made me feel old. Did you see that girl next to us? She looked
as though she was going to faint.

Claudia:
|
Yeah I know. But that's what
I really loved about it, the excitement and the spectacle. I
felt excited when the lights came on and the boys jumped out
of that box onto the stage.

Jackie:

OK, OK, that part was good
- the show had a lot of energy and I enjoyed watching the audience.
But after the first hour I was pretty bored. The songs all sounded
the same.

Claudia:
|
Oh you're too serious. It
was all about having fun. Sure, I didn't feel as if I was seeing
the greatest musicians in the world. But I didn't expect that.
|

Jackie:
|
Yeah. The show was fun in
parts, I guess. I just didn't feel moved by it.
|
|
Claudia:
|
Well, next time we go out,
it's your choice. I expect to be thoroughly moved by whatever
you choose.
|

Jackie:
|
OK, that's a challenge! Now,
let's go and get a coffee. I feel as though I need one.
