Helen and Jack Taylor with their four daughters,
Susan, Joy, Christine and Ann.
The Taylor family were a typical Australian family of the 1950s
and 1960s. Jack and Helen met at a social dance and when they married
Helen was 22 and Jack was 27. Jack was an accountant and Helen stopped
working to look after their children. They were living in the suburbs
and paying off their house, and the children were going to a local
school.
