Survey Results

The results of our Lifestyle Survey are now available and reveal some interesting trends.

First, what do people really think about the urban environment? It seems that we like balance. As the pie chart above shows, half (50 per cent) of the survey respondents think that we need to balance history and progress. Of the remaining respondents, 29 per cent think that progress is more important than preserving history and 21 per cent think that history should be preserved.

What is most important in life? Well, it seems most folks still value good relationships. Twenty four per cent of respondents ranked this the highest. Twenty one per cent of respondents answered that good health was most important. Eighteen per cent of people ranked a good job the highest. Religious beliefs and education were ranked highest by 14 per cent of respondents, while, sadly, helping people was ranked highest by only 9 per cent of respondents.

What about work? What's most important to people in the workplace these days? It's probably not so surprising that most people rank good pay and opportunities the highest at 22 per cent. But equally important to people, it seems, is the opportunity to use their skills, this being ranked equal highest. Having good colleagues is ranked highest by 18 per cent, followed by having a good boss, ranked highest by 15 per cent of people. Thirteen per cent of respondents rank an enjoyable work culture the highest. Perhaps surprisingly in our modern culture, training and learning new things is ranked highest by only 10 per cent of survey respondents.
