Reading READING 01 The choice game
In this game, you make choices about your career and your work. Read each screen then click on your choice: what you would do. Have fun!

YOUR DECISION: To do nothing to change your work, but to spend more time on leisure activities.

A good balance of work and leisure activities is important, but your manager has been watching you. She feels that you aren't trying to improve your skills by doing courses outside work. Perhaps you don't have any ambition, because you have never asked to do a different job or to take on more responsibility at work. She feels that it is very important for everyone on the team to be multi-skilled, and tells you that you must either study to improve your skills and knowledge, or leave the company. What do you do?

Agree to study part-time to improve your skills and knowledge. However, this means that you will only be working part-time, and you will have less money each week than before. Decide that you don't want to study - you are tired of studying. You don't want to work part-time either, because you need to have a good income. This means that you will need to leave the company and look for another job.
