	READING 01 The choice game
	In this game, you make choices about your career and your work. Read each screen then click on your choice: what you would do. Have fun!

YOUR DECISION: To accept a promotion.

You have been promoted and have started working in your new role. You are now leading a team in a different section from the one you were working in before. You have more money and also more responsibility, but it isn't as easy as you had hoped. You don't know the work of this section very well. You are supervising some people who used to be your friends - you were on the same level - and they are not happy about your promotion. They don't co-operate with you and you find the situation very stressful. How do you deal with this?

		You are determined to succeed in this position. You ask one of the senior managers to be your mentor, to help you deal with this situation.
		You decide you would like to work as a team leader in the same section you were in before you accepted the promotion. Your manager says you will need to wait for 6 months, and you agree to do this.
		You find the situation too stressful and decide to leave. You want to try to find another job that's less stressful but pays well.
